Product Overview
This band is built for the Casio G-SHOCK MT-G watches that run on the 5672 module, and it is shaped as a direct swap for the strap the watch came with rather than a universal band trimmed to fit. It joins the case the same way the original band does: press the release buttons on both sides of the lug and the band slides free, so changing the look of the watch takes seconds and never brings a spring bar tool near the case. It is a custom fluororubber material watch strap in the sense that matters here — the lug ends, the width and the running length are all set for this particular case.
The rubber is FKM fluoroelastomer under a soft matte, ribbed surface, closed with a double-press folding clasp. Colours range from the quiet end — black and army green — through blue and violet blue to a yellow bright enough to change the whole character of the watch. Because this is FKM rather than silicone, resin or polyurethane, it stays supple through hot weather and daily sweat instead of turning slick and grippy, and it holds up to sun and heat far better than ordinary rubber. If you have been shopping for a watch strap online and want to keep the quick-change convenience built into this watch, this is the band cut for it.

Fit & Compatibility
- Which watches it fits: Casio G-SHOCK MT-G models built on the 5672 module — the MTG-B3000 and its B and BD versions. If the case back of your watch carries that module number, this is the band pattern for it.
- The measurement that decides it: take the old band off and measure across the inside of the lug gap. That figure is the band width you need, and it should match the width shown in the specifications above; the case diameter on its own does not tell you the band width.
- A dedicated interface, not a flat end: the band ends are moulded to follow the case where they meet it, so the join sits tight rather than leaving a step or a lifted edge.
- What you do not need: no adapters, no conversion end links, no spring bars to compress and no separate tool kit — the interface is the one already built into the watch.
- A button on each side: the release is a pair of buttons at every lug end, pressed together. Pressing only one will not move the band, which is exactly what keeps it locked in daily wear.
- If you are unsure, ask first: a photo of the case back or the model number is enough for us to confirm that this custom fluororubber material watch strap is the right fit before you order.
One-Push Quick Release & Installation
- Turn the watch over and find the round release buttons at each end of the fitted band, right where the band meets the case.
- Press both buttons on one end at the same time and ease the band out of the lug — the spring bar retracts on its own, so nothing has to be levered against the case.
- Hold the new fluororubber material watch strap square to the lug gap and slide the end in straight rather than at an angle.
- Push until the end seats and the buttons pop back out; the band should click into place with light pressure rather than force.
- Repeat at the other end, then give each side a gentle tug to confirm it is locked before you put the watch on.
- Set the folding clasp to your wrist with the watch on your arm so the clasp closes centred, and check that both joins sit level against the case.
Material & Build
FKM — fluoroelastomer — is the rubber family used for seals and gaskets that have to survive heat, oils and sunlight without going hard, and it is the reason a fluororubber material watch strap behaves differently from the silicone and resin bands most watches are sold on. It stays soft and matte instead of turning shiny and tacky after a few months of sweat, it does not stiffen or crack in the sun, and it keeps its shape so the band still sits flat on the wrist long after cheaper rubber has started to curl at the edges.
The surface is ribbed rather than smooth: a texture you can see and feel, which keeps the band from reading as a plain strip of rubber against the machined MT-G case. The band holds its shape without becoming a slab, and the double-press folding clasp locks with two firm clicks so the band stays where you set it. The underside is soft against bare skin, and there is nothing to break in.
One point worth being clear about: this is an aftermarket replacement band made by FUERMAN for Casio MT-G watches, not a Casio-branded product. It is our own band, shaped for the same case and the same release.
Weight & Wrist Comfort
- A real difference from the steel bracelet: if your MT-G has been living on its metal bracelet, switching to a fluororubber material watch strap takes away most of the heft and swing, which is usually what causes wrist fatigue by the end of a long day.
- Soft from the first wear: there is no leather-style break-in period and nothing to soften up — the band is comfortable from the first fitting.
- Comfortable in heat and sweat: FKM stays smooth against the skin instead of going tacky, so the band does not need constant adjusting on a hot day or after a workout.
- No cold metal: rubber does not pull warmth out of the wrist the way a bracelet does first thing in the morning or in cold weather.
- Neat under a sleeve: the flat, soft profile slides under a cuff without snagging, so the watch works with a shirt as easily as with a t-shirt.
- Easy to live with: nothing to polish, and no hard links to catch hair or pull at a shirt cuff when you reach for something.
Colour Options & Styling
The standard run covers black, yellow, blue, violet blue and army green, and each colour can be paired with either a silver-tone or a black-tone clasp finish, so the hardware can match black case parts or pick up the polished accents. Black and army green are the understated choices — they disappear into the dark resin and metal of the watch and leave the case to do the talking. Blue and violet blue sit in the middle: close enough to the dial to look deliberate without shouting. Yellow is the one that resets the watch's character entirely, a bright sporty band against a dark case in the spirit of G-SHOCK's louder releases.
Changing the colour is also the quickest way to give one watch a second look, and since the band comes off in seconds, a spare in another shade takes up almost no drawer space. If a listed colour is close but not quite right, ask us: we look at custom fluororubber material watch straps as well as the standard colours and will tell you honestly whether your shade is possible. One practical note — rubber renders differently on every screen, so if you are matching a specific shade, ask to see a photo of the band you will actually receive before you decide.
Care & Daily Use
- After swimming, surfing or a hard workout: rinse the band in fresh water and dry it with a soft cloth, which clears salt and dried sweat out of the ribbed surface.
- Everyday marks: a little mild soap and lukewarm water shifts sunscreen and grime; keep abrasive pads, solvent cleaners and polishing compounds away from the rubber.
- Keep tools away from the lugs: this band comes off by hand, so there is no reason to bring a knife blade or a spring bar tool near the case — that is where careless strap changes leave marks.
- Store a spare flat and out of direct sun: a cool, dry drawer keeps a second colourway in the condition it arrived in and stops it taking a set from being folded away.
- Check the click now and then: if the band stops seating with a firm click, take it off, check that the lug ends are clean and undamaged, then refit and test it again.
- Know when to replace: rubber that has visibly cracked, hardened or lost its spring is past saving — that is the moment for a fresh band rather than more cleaning.
Ordering & Delivery
Have your watch's model number to hand when you order — it is the one detail that decides whether the band that arrives is the right one, and it takes a moment to check against the compatibility notes above. Tell us the colour and the clasp finish at the same time, since each shade comes with either silver-tone or black-tone hardware, and it is easier to confirm both together than to change a finish afterwards.
Buying watch strap online means you cannot hold the colour up to the light first, so if you are matching a shade, say so and we will send a photo of the band you will actually receive. If you need a fitting for a watch outside this range, or custom fluororubber material watch straps in a colourway that is not listed, raise it before you order and we will confirm what is possible. We are also happy to add bands for other watches to the same order — our luxury crocodile leather straps, the tropical-style silicone quick release bands in 18, 20 and 22 mm, the universal fluororubber band in 20 and 22 mm, and the FKM fluororubber nylon band in 20, 22 and 24 mm.
Packing, dispatch, delivery time, payment and returns depend on where the order is going and how large it is, so confirm the current options and lead time with your sales contact when you place the order. We will confirm the details that apply to your shipment before it leaves us.

FAQ
Q1. Do I need any tools to fit this band?
None at all. The band uses the same press release as the watch: push the buttons on both sides of the lug end and the band slides out, so a spring bar tool never comes near the case. Fitting the new one is simply the reverse — line the end up square with the lug gap and push until the buttons pop back out. It is fully reversible, so you can put the original band back on the same way whenever you like.
Q2. How do I check that both ends are locked in properly?
Two things tell you it is seated: the release buttons should sit flush with the band end, and each side should hold firm when you tug it gently. Do that check before the first wear, and once more after the first week, when the band has settled into the lugs. If an end ever feels loose, press both buttons, pull it out and refit it rather than wearing it as it is.
Q3. Is the folding clasp supplied with the band?
Yes — the band comes with the double-press folding clasp shown in the photos, so there is no separate clasp to find. That clasp is also how the length is set: open it, feed the band through to your wrist size and close it, and the two press points hold it while you wear the watch.
Q4. Will the length suit my wrist, including a larger one?
Both sides of the band are cut to a generous length that covers most wrists, and the folding clasp is what takes it down to your size. Measure your wrist before you order a watch strap online — a strip of paper or a tape measure around the arm is enough — and if you normally need an unusually long or short band, send us the figure and we will confirm whether this length is the right one for you.
Q5. Can I swim or train while wearing it?
The band itself is happy in water and sweat; that is part of why FKM is used here rather than ordinary rubber. How far you can take the watch still depends on the watch — the case, crown and gaskets are what keep water out of the movement, so keep to its own rating rather than the band's. In day-to-day use, sweat, rain and a rinse under the tap will not bother it.
Q6. What if my watch is a different MT-G model?
This band is cut for the 5672 module, and other MT-G references use different lug geometry, so it is not safe to assume the fit carries across. Send us the model number or a photo of the case back and we will check it for you. Where nothing in the standard range suits the case, custom fluororubber material watch straps are something we can discuss with you before you order.
